I have always been obsessed with textures. In a world where the visual seems to be winning by a landslide, it is important to stop and think about the rest of the senses and how they can stimulate our creativity.
Somehow I have always related the sense of touch with the past and this image was my first proposal for the cover of a book about women in the Spanish post-war period. Women who, like my grandmother, drew with pencil and read on paper.
Hence, when I decided to start the project, I thought of achieving a result that would make you want to touch.
